Wearing it

Clip it inside your waistband or to your collar, or wear it on the lanyard. The fan blows air up the inside of your shirt, across your chest and back, rather than in your face.

Turning it on and choosing a speed

• Turn on: press and hold the power button for 2.5 seconds. The display lights up and the fan starts at level 1.
• Speed up fast: keep holding the button and the speed climbs, up to level 120. Release and hold again to go the other way.
• Quick presets: while it’s running, single-press to jump between levels 30, 60, 90 and 120.
• Turn off: single-press after level 120. At high speeds, a single press turns it off straight away.

SubZero cooling

Press the SubZero button to turn the cooling plate on or off. A cooling chip makes the plate cold in seconds against your skin. It works best with the fan on a higher speed, which carries the heat away.

The built-in light

Press the light button to cycle through: light on, strobe, SOS, then off. It’s handy on evening walks and at campsites.
